This marks the beginning of 2015, a time of renewal and clean slates. It also marks the half year mark of DRH's new ownership under Michelle Coppolo. A Belmont, MA resident, married and mother of two children- Michelle made her vision for Darby Road a reality when she purchased the business in May of 2014- see Michelle discuss DRH on Chronicle by clicking HERE. Since then, the 5,000 square foot store has transformed into a large scale fine home furnishings boutique and design center located on 1395 Main Street in Waltham, MA. DRH not only has pieces ready to leave the showroom at the time of purchase, but also has a network of vendors that allow for customization down to the finish of the nail head trim. We have design consultation services on the premises or in-home appointments for those with larger projects on the horizon. DRH works with the trade as well.
At home on route 117, DRH is located right on the Waltham/Weston border and is a minute up the road from the new 1265 Main Complex that now houses the drive-thru Starbucks and new Market Basket. Wolfers Lighting is a few buildings away and Home Depot is on the other end of Bear Hill Road, making this spot a true destination area for those looking to rejuvenate and restore the stye and function of their homes. Those who commute into Boston from the towns around Weston and Sudbury have the ease of knowing we're on the way home for whenever there's a need to stop in for a new custom upholstered sectional or a fun set of coasters for a hostess gift.
